Trip description

Hi, guys!

Let me write few words about me. My name is Bart and I 'm from Poland. I live since approximately 5 years,  in London, UK. On next year I'll be 30 (18.07.1988) so I want to do something special to celebrate my birthday.

Let me explain briefly my plan...One of my dreams is take a trip in Ford Mustang through Route 66 So to make my dreams come true I've planned to fly from London to Chicago (around the end of June), nextly ride R66  (keep strictly old/new Route 66 trails) to Los Angeles (I want to make few side trips to:  GRAND CANYON, MONUMENT VALLEY, ANTELOPE CANYON, TAOS PUEBLO, HORSESHOE BEND) and drive from there to Las Vegas. In Vegas, we have to drop off a rented car and I want to spend my birthday there. The whole trip should take approx. 22 days. On last day, I want to take the fly from Las Vegas airport and come back to London. In my humble opinion this trip should cost around 7000 pounds (flight, petrol, rent car, car insurances, accommodation, food and drinks, tickets to attractions), but if somebody will join to with me all the coast will be relative  smaller and driving will be easier (time to time we will swap behind the steering wheel). Just to let you know. In this moment I don't have touristic visa to USA, but I hope that when I will mention in my visa app that I'll go with somebody on my trip – to get it should be only formality...

What kind of travel buddy am I looking for?

- has a similar age to me,

- know English :D

- a patient and calm person,

- outgoing and easy going,

- likes music (rock, rock'n'roll, metal, country, rap <3),

- can meet with me (the best if u live close to London),

- know how to drive,

- responsible,

- doesn't have any problems with sleep in a tent, cheap mostels or even inside car - it has to be low cost trip...

- loves nature,

- likes photography,

- likes meet new persons and discover their cultures,

- has experience in travels;

Like I wrote. It’s only outline. I made as well plan of all the places which I want to see during Route 66 trail, but it is too long list to share this in this place (if you want to check it just let me know). I need to make some:  reservations, buy tickets, make trail for GPS (Tyres program) and prepare list of total coasts (but should be similar as I mentioned before). Will be great if my travel buddy can help me with this. So does anybody fancy for it? Time is running out...

Regards!

Bartosz Kwiek
