Agumbe located a distance of around 380 km from Bengaluru is known as the 'Cherapunji of South' & is said to receive the second highest rainfall in India. Being a part of the Someshwara wildlife sanctuary, this is a verdant land of lush jungles teeming with all kinds of wildlife. The many waterfalls & streams that dot Agumbe and its surrounding evergreen forests make it one of the best destinations for trekking & hiking in Karnataka. From wild waterfall treks to ancient forts, and with an amazing camping experience, this trip has it all and is the perfect weekend getaway from the bustle of city-life.

Things to carry-
Don't worry about packing too much or too little. Here's just everything that you need to carry- a rucksack, a water bottle, torch, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medicine, a pair of clothes, undergarments, socks, a towel, toilet kit, portable charger, flip-flops, hiking shoes. And, a camera to capture the memories(optional).Don't forget to bring loads of enthusiasm :)
