Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati
• Meet us at Airport or Train Station
• Meet and Greet with other tour companion
• Explore Local Guwahati Market by Walk
Day 2: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park
• Today visit Kamakhya Temple, a popular Hindu pilgrimage site.
• Hit the road to the famous Kaziranga National Park.
• Upon arrival, check into the Homestay/Hotel.
• Explore the nearby Tea Estate in the afternoon.
• Stay overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga - Shillong
• During the early morning, around 5.30 am, explore and eastern range of the Kaziranga National Park Jeep safari.
• After Lunch take a road trip to Shillong (280 kilometers in 6 hours).
• On the way, visit Umiam Lake, a tranquil lake surrounded by sylvan hills. On arrival,
• Check in at the hotel/homestay. In the afternoon, explore the local market.
• Stay overnight in Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong – Cherrapunjee - Shillong
• Post breakfast in the morning; hit the road to Cherrapunjee,
• The heaviest rainfall destination in the world.
• Visit Noh-ka-Likai and a few caves in and around Cherapunjee. Later, return back to Shillong.
• On the way back to shillong, visit Stone Cave, Balancing Stone Shillong Peak and Elephanta Falls.
• Stay overnight in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong - Mawlynong – Dawaki River
• Today after breakfast hour proceed for a memorable drive to Mawlynnong, 3 hours journey cover around 90kms.
• Trek to Living root Bridge, which is also one of the most attractions, why tourist visits here.
• The back porch extends by a hanging bridge and leads out to two sit-outs over the jungle.
• The cacophonic symphony of the river rushing past, crickets, birds, and other sounds of the jungle here are a sheer delight for the senses.
• Proceed to Dawaki River Dawki-Tamabil is one of the few road border crossings between India and Bangladesh. It is used mainly for coal transportation to Bangladesh. Dawki Bridge, is a suspension bridge over the Umngot river. It was constructed in 1932 by the British.
• Overnight stay at Camp near Dawki river.
Day 06: Shillong Local Sightseeing
• Morning after breakfast leave for Sightseeing at Shillong
• Don Bosco Museum, Wards Lake, Golf Course, Lady Hyderi Park, Police Bazar, Hyadri Park and Ward Lake.
• Continue with remaining Sightseeing of upper Shillong: Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Airforce Museum.
• Evening enjoy Tea / Coffee at Local Market.
• Overnight Stay in Shillong.
Day 7: Shillong-Guwahati
• Post Breakfast Drive Back to Guwahati
• Say goodbye to your Tour Companion and See you all on next trip to “Tawang”
