Day 6: #Roamerday at Koh Phangan Day 7: Koh Phangan to Bangkok Day 8: Extend your trip or return What’s a DIY Trip? Our DIY trips are highly curated itineraries, which are prepared by our experts keeping in mind the travel preference and travel styles mentioned by our members aka ‘Roamers’. These trips are without trip leaders. We only take registrations from like-minded Roamers, making sure that they are the right fit for the group and so they are very affordable and a lot more fun. Flight booking tip: This Thailand trip starts from Krabi airport and ends at Bangkok airport. On arrival, we suggest that you to book a flight to Bangkok and then take a domestic flight from Bangkok to Krabi. This will come out as a cheaper option. If you need any help in flight bookings, feel free to reach out to us and our team will be happy to help you out. Detailed Itinerary Day 1: The beginning of exploration, Krabi Arrive in Krabi at any time. Check into your hotel and get some much-needed rest, freshen up and get those holiday spirits going. Huddle up for dinner for a small #RoamersMeetAndGreet before your grand adventure begins the next day with your Roaming Clan. DAY 2: 7 Islands sunset tour: Leave Krabi on a traditional longtail boat for a 6-hour sunset tour of the 7 Islands with a BBQ dinner and night snorkeling. Visit the ‘phallus shrine’ at Phra Nang Cave, then slip into the dusky water to snorkel at Poda Island, Tup Islet and Chicken Island. Experience sunset on the Andaman Sea as you dine on Thai-style BBQ on Koh Poda’s beach, and watch a hypnotizing fire-dancing show under the tropical stars. Return to Krabi on a dark ocean, and watch for the elusive gleam of phosphorescent plankton. DAY 3: Get transported to an island paradise, Koh Samui Head over to Koh Samui, an island paradise. It’s the perfect place to sit back and enjoy some sunbathing, fine dining or just a relaxing spa session. Here you will get to pamper your tired body and mind. You can have your pick from the myriad number of beaches, be it Coco Tam’s for some cocktails, Chaweng beach for it’s gorgeous sunrises or Mae Nam beach for some serious nap time while gazing at the magic of the sea shimmering while the sun sets on our day in Koh Samui. DAY 4: Wait! There’s more to Koh Samui- Scuba diving, Koh Tao Put on those flippers and get ready for a #RoamersAdventure and go scuba diving at Koh Tao. Have some fun splish-splashing, learning the basics and dive right in for an underwater visual extravaganza. If you’re someone who has already done a bit of diving then this will be like no other experience you’ve ever had, with Koh Tao’s diverse array of underwater life-Sea Turtles, Clown Fish, different corals stingrays and loads more. If you’re a diving virgin then you’ll get hooked. For those of you who don't want to explore the depths of the sea, there’s plenty to do around here. You can choose to go snorkelling, kite surfing, island tours, cruising on a boat or just chill at the blue beach. Later on head back to the hotel to get a good night’s sleep before getting the party started. DAY 5: Arrival at party central, Koh Phangan Check in to your hotel at Koh Phangan, unpack those backpacks and get ready for some #BeachCrawlingWithRoamers. Savour a nice Thai meal while soaking up the sun and some laid-back vibes. Explore the beaches by the day before diving into the wild party at night. As dusk slowly turns to night, let’s dress up to #PartyLikeRoamers on the beach. Here, we can get a taste of what an actual carefree party is, with alcohol flowing freely, bodies moving to the rhythm of the music and the sound of the waves passing by, glistening in the moonlight. The show will go on till the first light of dawn when the trance-athon ebbs out and you have literally partied till you drop. DAY 6: Explore Koh Phangan beyond it’s party scenes This is #Roamerday, a free day for you to enjoy as you please. Sunbathing and yoga retreats for some peace and quiet, trekking and watersports for an adrenaline rush, massages and spas to pamper yourself or food bazaars for just pigging out. There’s something for everyone at Koh Phangan. Let us know your preferences in advance and we will be happy to arrange it for you. Here are our top picks: Thong sala night market for food Sunset at Amsterdam bar Challenge Phangan- try wipeout (Highly recommended) Kite surfing at Ban tai beach Boat trips including a hike and kayaking Rent a motorbike and explore Thai boxing at Thongsala Canopy tour with zip line and dancing bridges near Ban Tai Khao Rak trek (3 hours trek to the highest point of Koh Phangan, only for experienced hikers) Yoga retreats, thai massages, Buddhist meditation Mountain biking DAY 7: The journey to the Bangkok city After a lot of partying, and vacationing we head to Bangkok while passing through Surat Thani, catching glimpses of some of the memorable spots during our travel-ventures in the past few days. In the evening, shop till drop in this Thai capital. Get some shut-eye in your hotel in Bangkok at night with flashes of fond recollections of the days well spent coursing through your minds. Shankadhura, steeped in a history of being along an ancient trade and pilgrim route with a present which is uniquely rural and rich in both cultural & natural diversity, is a small village in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Set amidst the majestic towering Panchachuli peaks, on the banks of Gori river and located close to the tri-junction of the international borders of India, Nepal and Tibet, the village offers a unique frontier flavor. The village home stays encourages the traveler keen on a deeper experience, to interact with the place and the people, with nature and culture, as an insider. You can either chose to be a quiet observer and enjoy your time with us soaking in the rural ambiance, or you are welcome to join us in a number of activities- some guided and structured, and others which are more organic and free flowing, in rhythm of the daily lives of the mountain community and the imperatives of the seasons. Families welcome you to share your cooking skills, cook with fresh ingredient and get 'back to the basics' for those so inclined. Or learn to weave with wool on traditional looms, basket weave with a montane bamboo- crafts that are seasonally engaged in and are integral to a community that is highly dependent on its forests and rich natural heritage. ***** TRIP HIGHLIGHTS ***** Pahadi Homestays: Stay in a beautiful spacious home stay with a Kumaoni family, where they will happily invite you inside their kitchens and pamper you with lip smacking traditional food. Pluck some fresh cucumbers, lemons, corns, carrots and taste them. Feel free to pack some samples to bring them home. Organic food: We will be served fresh organic meals, during our stay in the village. Kumoani ladies pluck home-grown vegetables from their farms, for every meal. Bird Trek: The region has 326 recorded bird species. Be ready to spot some beautiful and rare birds that will make you fall in love with nature once again. Therapists say that bird sounds work as a brain spa, so be ready to be left rejuvenated after the trek.
