When you are in Delhi you just can't miss the wide variety of food . There are many places in Delhi like Chandni Chowk , Connaught Place , Sarojini Nagar , Rajouri Garden , Karol Bagh out of these only few are famous for it's mouth watering food . I keep on visiting Chandni Chowk as I can't refrain myself from eating street food . It is a place with narrow lanes , chock - a - block with people , streets are lined with sweet sellers . So , I started with Paranthewali wali . This lane is very old and was started in 1870's . Most of the celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor , Imitiaz Ali , Deepika Padukone and lot more visited there and you can see their snaps with parantha . You can find wide variety of paranthas like aloo parantha , paneer parantha , gobhi parantha . Apart from these it offers ladyfinger parantha , matar parantha , tomato parantha and I was quite shocked to see as I never experienced such food . Paranthas being served with Tamarind chutney , pickles and aloo subzi are just awesome . Also they are very cheap starting from rupees 60 . From outside shops look shabby but from inside they are spick and span .
Then , after moving forward there is an old Jalebiwala before you enter Dariba Kalan . Although I don't like sweets but still I tried delicious plate of hot jalebis . There is a shop named Ghantewala which my mother told me is very old , nearly 200 years old . From there I tried Badam Barfi and is perfect place for vegetarians . After , trying all these food I left some space for gol gappe from Lala Babu Chaat Bhandaar which is famous for serving gol gappe with Jal Jeera .
Moving forward for non - vegetarians restaurants like Karim's is very famous . For butter chicken Moti Mahal is perfect place to eat . The air of that lane is filled with aroma of spices which will definitely force you to stop there and have it .
So , what all stuff are you gorging on from Chandni Chowk ?
